I love being in touch with the "Workshop" and with the construction site, they are my habitat; also, I love making projects while I work...

...if we had lived in the Re-awakening, artists like Raffaello, Leonardo, Michelangelo would have been pointed out as craftsmen... indeed, at that time, they were skillful craftsmen with their technics, intuitions and visions.

Nowadays they are considered artists. I think all the skilled craftsmen are in their own way, artists; making projects and working for commission is indeed what happened in the Re-awakening. Now as then, we make projects and make dreams come true, possibly making them long lasting...

I was born in a family of craftsmen, as I grew up I smelled wood and I understood that experience is not a definite status, but an unceasing evolution. I love being in touch with the "Workshop" and with the construction site, they are my habitat; plus, I love making projects while I work.

When people ask me if I'm a craftsman or a designer… I always answer with a bit of irony that I'm an "artist" carpenter!
